NATIONAL CITY, California (June 1, 2016) — A motorcycle rider suffered minor injuries early Wednesday morning when his bike and a car collided on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway at 8th Street, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 6:29 AM this morning with the rider down in the center divider, but he was able to get up and was moving after the crash, the report said. The driver of a gray Toyota Matrix who struck the bike, pulled over into the center divider following the crash.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash including the rider who suffered minor injuries.
The crash will be under investigation by police to determine liability.
