Natividad Alvarado Saenz, 71, Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 10, 2021) – A pedestrian crash on Columbus Street in Bakersfield killed Natividad Alvarado Saenz.
The coroner’s office said the 71-year-old Arvin man died following the collision which occurred last month.
The incident happened on May 29 when Natividad Alvarado Saenz was crossing a street in Bakersfield. For an unknown reason, a vehicle struck him in the 3700 block of Columbus Street.
Natividad Alvarado Saenz ended up suffering major injuries as a result of the pedestrian crash. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and soon found him down on the road.

Medical personnel then rushed the victim to the Kern Medical and listed him in grave condition. Police affirmed that he passed away on Wednesday.
The motorist stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the officers. Police forced a part of Columbus Street to shut down for a time following the accident.
