Boy Killed in Moreno Valley Crash on Fir Avenue
MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2018) — A 2-year-old Moreno Valley toddler was killed in a pedestrian accident involving a commercial vehicle in the 24000 block of Fir Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The child has since been identified as Nazarey Flores Arizmendi.
The crash was reported this morning at 10:21 a.m.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to help those involved, but sadly the child died at the scene. It is unknown at this time how the young child made their way to the roadway.
The collision is under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (RSO).

The driver who caused this collision should be held liable for the loss of this child’s life. Their could potentially be criminal charges made if a traffic violation such as speeding or illegal activity is confirmed.
Anyone else who was hurt may also pursue a personal injury lawsuit against the at-fault driver seeking compensation for damages such as medical expenses and hospital bills, lost future income due to work absence, and pain and suffering.
