Nazim Abdellali Killed in Gardena Crash on Rosecrans Avenue

Man, 19, Killed; One Arrested

GARDENA, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2024) — Nazim Abdellali, 19, of Lawndale, died in a rollover crash in Gardena on Saturday morning on Rosecrans Avenue, just east of Crenshaw Boulevard.

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 2nd, in the 2900 block of Rosecrans Avenue, according to the Gardena Police Department.

Nazim Abdellali was heading home after work when his vehicle crashed into the center median and overturned.

The young man suffered major injuries and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

Authorities were investigating the crash scene when a second driver possibly involved in the collision reportedly returned to the scene, police said.

Gardena police arrested the motorist, but there are no further details.

The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
