Palm Springs Man Riding Bicycle Killed in Crash
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (March 14, 2023) — Nelson Esteban, 58. of Palm Springs, died in a bicycle accident Monday morning on East Ramon Road, between El Cielo and Compadre roads.
The car versus bicycle crash occurred around 4:43 a.m. on March 13th, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
The victim’s identity was released by the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
Motorist Hits Man Riding Bicycle
A driver reportedly struck the Palm Springs man as he rode bicycle, but the circumstances leading up to the incident are unknown at this time.
The Palm Springs Police Department responded to the crash scene and located the injured bicyclist. Sadly, Nelson Esteban died at the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities closed down a portion of Ramon Road to conduct an investigation into what happened.
