Driver Hospitalized After Collision Near Saturn Boulevard Saturday
Nestor, CA (January 8, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Palm Avenue Saturday, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
Our sources indicated a 29-year-old man was behind the wheel of a Nissan Altima traveling in the streets of a South Bay neighborhood. Per local news source, the car slammed into the back of a fuel tanker parked at a red light. The collision took place near the intersection of Palm Avenue and Saturn Boulevard.

Shortly after 7:49 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the occupants in the Nissan Altima. Officials said the driver was transported to the hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the operator of the semi truck appeared unhurt after the crash.
Investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car and truck crash on Palm Avenue in Nestor.
