3 Hospitalized After Rollover Crash on Highway 166 Sunday
New Cuyama, CA (June 27, 2021) – Multiple people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Highway 166 early Sunday morning, the Taft Midway Driller reported.
According to the news article published online, a passenger vehicle with three occupants rolled over for an unknown reason on Highway 166. The collision happened near the 7300 block of the freeway just west of New Cuyama.

Medical personnel arrived at the crash site shortly after 5:20 a.m. Paramedics found three parties with injuries. Per local news source, one person sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. A CalSTAR reportedly landed near the scene, then transported the patient to an area hospital.
Authorities added the other two patients sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were taken by ground ambulances to the hospital for treatment.
Several factors surrounding the car accident in New Cuyama remained unclear at this time. Given that, investigators continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the collision on Highway 166.
