NEW CUYAMA, California (Oct. 2, 2014) –– A motorcyclist was killed Thursday morning in a collision with two other motorcyclists on Highway 33 at Quatal Canyon Road, just south of the Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The San Luis CHP and Ventura County Fire department responded to the fatal crash to assist those involved. The accident was reported at 10:45 a.m. today.
The Ventura County Coroner also responded after it was determined that one person died in the crash.
Police are investigating the collision to determine liability.
