Rider Killed in Collision at Cedar Boulevard and Dupont Avenue
Newark, CA (December 15, 2022) – A motorcyclist died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Cedar Boulevard and Dupont Avenue Wednesday morning.
According to East Bay Times News, a male party was riding a motorbike heading northbound on Cedar. Earlier reports indicated the collision took place at the Dupont Avenue intersection when the motorcyclist and another car entered the crossing at the same time. Officials said the car made a left turn from Dupont onto southbound Cedar and hit the rider.

Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 9:20 a.m. When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to the injured motorcyclist. The article published online mentioned the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. Authorities only identified the deceased as a 28-year-old Fremont resident.
Meanwhile, the driver involved in the catastrophic incident stayed and cooperated with the police. Detectives handling the case continue to investigate liability in the deadly crash that happened at Cedar Boulevard and Dupont Avenue in Newark.
