3-Vehicle Crash on I-15 Freeway
NEWBERRY SPRINGS, Calif. (August 25, 2023) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Thursday on the northbound 15 freeway near exit 100 at Alvord Mountain Road in Newberry Springs.
The three-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 8:26 p.m., August 3, according to a report by Victor Valley News Group.
Police issued a SigAlert following the collision blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the I-15 Freeway on Thursday night.
The driver of two pickup trucks including one hauling a camper trailer and an SUV were involved in the wreck, the report said.
The pickup truck with the camper trailer had major damage and was blocking the freeway’s fast lane and No. 2 lane.
Tow trucks removed the pickup truck and camper from the roadway.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help anyone hurt in the crash, but there are no further details at this time.
The Newberry Springs accident on the 15 Freeway remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow station.
