
One Vehicle Overturned, Another Rolled in Crash on Interstate 40
NEWBERRY SPRINGS, Calif. (July 23, 2024) — A multi-vehicle car collision happened Thursday afternoon on Interstate 40 in the Newberry Springs area of San Bernardino County, California.
The traffic accident occurred at around 1:11 PM on Thursday July 25, 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black sedan, white semi-truck, black Honda Civic and another unknown car were all involved in a traffic accident on the Interstate 40 in Newberry Springs. One of the many vehicles involved was reported to be a traffic hazard in the middle of the highway. Another vehicle was overturned on its roof, while the black Honda was blocking the left lane of the Interstate 40. One of the vehicles had children as passengers in the vehicle. It was later reported by CHP that the cause of the accident was due to the black sedan who clipped the white semi-truck. Due to the impact of the crash the black sedan did roll.
Paramedics responded and located those with injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the Newberry Springs collision on Interstate 40 in San Bernardino County.
