Several Vehicles Collide on Highway 101 Near CHP Conejo Scales Facility
LOCATION: Newbury Park, Ventura County
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, October 29th
October 29, 2018 – On Monday, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on northbound Highway 101 in the Newbury Park area.
According to Ventura County Star, around six to ten vehicles were involved in what appeared to be two separate accidents. Both crashes reportedly took place around 5:23 p.m. near the CHP’s Conejo Scales facility between Newbury Park and Camarillo.
Several tow trucks were called to the scene, as per the article, to transport damaged vehicles.
At this time, it is still unclear if there were serious injuries in the mishap.
The detectives handling the case continue to investigate what exactly led to the collisions.
