At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision on Lincoln Newcastle Highway Saturday
Newcastle, CA (August 21, 2021) – A car accident that occurred Saturday evening on State Route 193 resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Our sources indicted multiple vehicles collided on SR-193, also known as Lincoln Newcastle Highway, near Skyview Drive. First responders found at the scene a Hyundai Tucson, a red Ford pickup truck, and a silver Honda Accord.
The California Highway Patrol logged the incident at about 8:02 p.m.
Minor Injury Car Accident in Newcastle, August 21
When medical personnel arrived at the crash site, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. Officials later confirmed a female party suffered minor injuries as a result of the wreck. Due to the condition of the victim, an ambulance transported her to the hospital for treatment. The name of the patient, and their age remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car accident in Newcastle.
