Newhall: Car Crash on Interstate 5 Near Templin Highway

1 Hospitalized After Collision on I-5

Newhall, CA (March 5, 2023) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Interstate 5 Freeway, according to the Signal News.

Earlier reports indicated two vehicles crashed into each other in the northbound lanes of the freeway near Templin Highway. Due to the force from the impact, at least one car rolled over multiple times.

Shortly after 10:15 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all the occupants in both cars. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed two people sustained minor injuries as a result of the wreck. However, medical personnel transported only one victim to the hospital for further treatment. The names of the people hurt in the collision remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Detectives assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Interstate 5 in Newhall.
