Pedestrian Injured in Newhall Crash on Ebelden Avenue
SANTA CLARITA, CA (April 14, 2021) – An elderly pedestrian was hospitalized after an accident along Ebelden Avenue in Newhall.
The Signal and Hometown Station wrote that the incident occurred on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the crash shortly after 9:30 a.m.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said a vehicle struck the person for an unknown reason. The driver hit the pedestrian in the 24600 block of Ebelden Avenue in Newhall.
Elderly Victim Hit by Vehicle in Newhall
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Calgrove Boulevard. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the motorist stopped after hitting the elderly pedestrian. They forced the road to shut down following the Newhall crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
