Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Pine Street Friday

Newhall, CA (April 9, 2021) – A pedestrian accident occurred on Pine Street Friday evening, the KHTS News reported.

Officials said an unidentified person suffered injuries after a vehicle struck them near Sixth Street in Newhall. The collision took place in the 24000 block of Pine Street, according to the article published online.

Shortly after 7:40 p.m., paramedics arrived at the crash site. Medical personnel then rendered aid to the pedestrian found with injuries. Due to the extent of injuries of the victim, an ambulance transported them to the hospital for treatment. Police continue to withhold the name of the patient pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the crash.

Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the pedestrian accident in Newhall.
