2 Injured in Newman Crash at West Stuhr and Eastin Roads
NEWMAN, CA (October 9, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at Stuhr Road and Eastin Road in Newman.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place late Saturday night. Officers reported the accident at about 10:22 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Newman in Stanislaus County. They crashed at the intersection of West Stuhr and Eastin roads.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a black Infiniti and a black colored sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near a cemetery.
A total of two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel confirmed that at least one person sustained major injuries upon impact.
They then took both patients to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Stuhr and Eastin roads to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Newman crash is still under investigation.
