1 Seriously Injured in Newman Car Crash at West Stuhr and Eastin Roads
NEWMAN, CA (November 13, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Stuhr Road and Eastin Road in Newman.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place on Saturday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at about 8 a.m.
CHP determined that two vehicles collided in the city of Newman. They crashed for an unknown reason at the intersection of West Stuhr and Eastin roads.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log described the cars as a green Volvo and a GMC Sierra. The Volvo obtained major front and side damage while the GMC ended up with moderate front end damage.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated a trapped occupant from the wreckage. They attended to one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Stuhr and Eastin roads to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Newman car crash is still under investigation.
