Deadly Traffic Collision Near Olinda Village
Brea, CA (March 21, 2023) – Nguyen Khoa Dinh, a 20-year-old Santa Ana resident, suffered fatal injuries following a car accident that occurred on Carbon Canyon Road Monday, March 20.
The Sun published an article online reporting a collision between two vehicles. Officials said the two cars crashed head-on just east of Olinda Village in Brea. The make and model of the automobiles involved in the catastrophic incident have not been discussed thus far.
Shortly after 8:01 p.m., emergency crews responded to the location. Paramedics found at least one driver suffering in serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, the man sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. The coroner officials later identified the deceased as Nguyen Khoa Dinh.
2 Hospitalized After Fatal Crash in Brea
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger in the other car both escaped death. Rescue teams transferred the two victims to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The Traffic Division of Brea Police Department continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly crash that happened on Carbon Canyon Road.
