2 Injured in Nice Crash at Highway 20 and Manzanita Road
LAKE COUNTY, CA (September 8, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at Highway 20 and Manzanita Road in the area of Nice.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 6:30 a.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Nice. They crashed on Highway 20 at the intersection with Manzanita Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log added that one of the cars involved rolled onto its side upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near the Laurel Beach.
They found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took both patients to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Highway 20 and Manzanita Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Nice car crash is still under investigation.
