Nicholas Dooley, 25, Killed in Apple Valley Pedestrian Crash on Dale Evans Parkway
APPLE VALLEY, CA (November 20, 2021) – Nicholas Dooley was killed after a pedestrian crash on Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley.
The coroner’s office identified the 25-year-old Apple Valley man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Nicholas Dooley was walking in the northbound lane of Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley. At the same time, a white Chevy truck was traveling north.
For an unknown reason, the Chevy struck the pedestrian in the 16200 block of the road. Another car going north, possibly a white Toyota Camry, then hit him near Quantico Road.
Man Hit by Cars
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and soon found the victim down on the ground. Nicholas Dooley sustained serious injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident.
Deputies confirmed that he died at the scene. The Victor Valley News wrote that the collision occurred on November 16 at about 7:44 p.m.
Meanwhile, officers affirmed that the driver of the Chevrolet stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man. They are seeking for the cooperation of the motorist in the Toyota.
