Fatal DUI Motorcycle Crash at Mission Avenue and El Camino Real
OCEANSIDE (July 5, 2017)- According to San Diego Fox News 5, a man identified as Nicholas Kursinskis, 25, of Oceanside, died of his injuries Saturday, July 1, stemming from a DUI collision which took place Wednesday, June 28.
Oceanside Police was alerted of the collision at around 9:25 p.m. between a Dodge pickup and a motorcycle at the crossroads of El Camino Real and Mission Avenue.

The driver of the Dodge pickup, Kennith Allen, 59, was headed westbound on Mission and attempted to turn onto El Camino Real directly into the path of the 25-year-old male rider, Nicholas Kursinskis, who collided with the driver’s side door of the pickup.
Kursinskis was ejected from the bike suffering serious injuries and was rushed to a trauma center over at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. He sadly died of his injuries several days later.

Meanwhile, Allen was determined to have been under the influence. He was arrested at the scene and faces felony DUI charges as he remains in jail as of Thursday morning.
