Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Highway 101
Paso Robles, CA (December 26, 2022) – Nicholas Ernest Schaefer, a 62-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on State Route Highway 101.
On December 16, Friday, two vehicles struck a male party in the southbound lanes of SR-101. The Paso Robles Daily News reported the horrible crash took place just north of Highway 46 East.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Paso Robles
Our sources indicated the collision resulted in life-threatening injuries to the pedestrian. Responding paramedics performed CPR to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his trauma and passed away at the scene. Authorities later identified the deceased as Nicholas Ernest Schaefer, of Paso Robles.
Officials mentioned the two drivers involved in the crash appeared unharmed. At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident that happened on Highway 101 in Paso Robles.
