Nickolas Armstrong, 26, Killed in Bakersfield Crash Near White Lane and Ashe Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 11, 2021) – Nickolas Armstrong was killed after a motorcycle crash near White Lane and Ashe Road in Bakersfield.
The coroner’s office identified the 26-year-old Bakersfield man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Sunday.
The incident began when Nickolas Steven Armstrong was riding a motorcycle east on White Lane near Ashe Road in Bakersfield. At the same time, an SUV was making a U-turn in the area.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Police said in the process, the rider collided with the passenger side of the car. The Bakersfield Now and Kern Golden Empire wrote that the accident occurred on October 10 shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Nickolas Armstrong sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced him dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the SUV stopped and stayed at the site following the wreck. The cause of the Bakersfield crash is still under investigation.
