Pedestrian Struck, Killed on 110 Freeway/Arroyo Seco Parkway Near Highland Park
HIGHLAND PARK, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2021) – Nicole Higgins, 35, died early Tuesday morning in a pedestrian accident on the 110 Freeway near Avenue 60 in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles.
The vehicle struck the woman about 4:30 a.m. on the southbound Arroyo Seco Parkway (State Route 110), according to the California Highway Patrol. She suffered major injuries and died at the scene of the Highland Park collision. The motorist involved reportedly stopped and cooperated with authorities at the scene of the deadly crash. Police did not make any arrests.

Additionally, CHP officials ordered two of the southbound lanes of the freeway to be closed down to conduct an investigation.
