Temecula Woman Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Main Street and Highway 74
LAKE ELSINORE, California (March 31, 2014) — Nidhi Burman, 27, of Temecula was killed Sunday afternoon in a rollover car accident Main Street and Highway 74, according to a press release by the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
About 12:40 p.m., police say the Temecula woman was riding as a passenger in an SUV that collided with another driver near the Interstate 15 Freeway, the report said. The driver of the crossover SUV reportedly lost control of the vehicle causing it to rollover several times before landing in a dirt area at Camino Del Norte near Ohana Circle on the side of the freeway. Burman was ejected from the vehicle during the collision.
Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Paramedics responded to the crash and transported Burman to a nearby hospital where she was treated, but later died of her injuries about 1:20 p.m., the report said.
The fatal crash is under investigation by the CHP’s San Diego offices.
“There is a police report pending for this fatal accident that will provide details about what exactly happened yesterday,” said Riverside Car Accident Attorney James Johnson. “My prayers are with the family of Nidhi Burman as they cope with her sudden loss.”
