Driver, Passenger Killed in Collision Near Sargo Drive Monday
Niland, CA (March 10, 2022) – On March 7, two people died following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 111.
The Desert Review reported a solo-vehicle drifted off the highway for an unknown reason. Subsequently, the 2003 Ford car rolled over and landed in the area near Sargo Drive in Niland.

When emergency crews arrived at the site, the found a man and a woman both with serious injuries. Responding medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the driver and passenger. Unfortunately, both parties succumbed to their injuries and died. Authorities continue to withhold the names of the fatal victims pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the accident scene the whole morning to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the horrible crash on Highway 111 in Niland. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
