2-Vehicle Crash on North Thompson Avenue
NIPOMO, Calif. (March 1, 2024) — A two-vehicle Nipomo car accident happened Friday morning at North Thompson Avenue, just north of Willow Road.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of N. Thompson Avenue at around 7:08 a.m. on March 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a red Chevrolet Cruze and a red Ford Explorer SUV were involved and both vehicles were blocking traffic lanes.
Someone called 911 to report the crash and mentioned at least one person in the Chevrolet had injuries, but there were no further details.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help those hurt and tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the crash scene.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Nipomo crash on Thompson Avenue.
