1 Injured in Nipomo Crash at West Tefft Street and Mary Avenue
NIPOMO, CA (June 21, 2021) – At least one was hospitalized after a car crash at Tefft Street and Mary Avenue in Nipomo.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck on June 19 at about 10:30 a.m.
According to their dispatch team, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in front of the Vons Fuel Station in Nipomo. They crashed at the intersection of West Tefft Street and Mary Avenue.
Car Collision Near Highway 101
CHP added that a car then slammed into a tree nearby. They described the one of the vehicles involved as a white Mercedes which sustained major front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 101. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to the Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Tefft Street and Mary Avenue to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Nipomo crash.
