Major Injury Crash on Bonita School Road in Nipomo
NIPOMO, Calif. (June 7, 2022) — A two-vehicle Nipomo crash happened Tuesday morning on Bonita School Road, just south of Division Street.
The collision occurred in the 2200 block of Bonita School Road about 5:22 a.m. on June 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported two vehicles including a silver Ford Fusion collided due to unknown circumstances.
The vehicles blocked both lanes of the roadway following the crash. Paramedics responded to the scene to help those hurt and transported at least one person with major injuries to a hospital. Police did not mention the gender, age or identity of those hurt.
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles including the Ford Fusion from the scene.
Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together evidence and witness statements to determine fault for the Bonita School Road crash.
