Nipton: Fatal Car, Truck Crash on Interstate 15

At Least 1 Killed in Collision on Mojave Freeway

Nipton, CA (April 2, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 15 Freeway on April 1, Saturday.

Our sources indicated multiple vehicles collided in the southbound side of I-15, also known as Mojave Freeway. According to the CHP dispatch, first responders found at the scene a tractor trailer and a pickup truck both overturned. The make and model of the other four automobiles involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.

Deadly Traffic Accident in Nipton

Shortly after 10:06 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found one person unconscious. Despite life-saving efforts performed by medical personnel, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the fatal collision that happened on Interstate 15 in Nipton.
