At Least 1 Killed in Collision on Barstow Freeway
Nipton, CA (December 11, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 5, also known as Barstow Freeway.
Our sources indicated a semi truck collided with two smaller vehicles on the freeway in Nipton. CHP logged the case Sunday around 3:10 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found a white truck and a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon both disabled. No immediate information was available on the make and model of the third car involved in the collision.
Deadly Traffic Accident on Interstate 5 in Nipton
Responding medical personnel reportedly found at least one person lying on the ground. The victim, possibly ejected during the crash, sustained serious injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the patient but they eventually passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been discussed thus far. Given that, detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the fatal traffic collision on Interstate 5 in Nipton.
