NIPTON, California (April 8, 2016) — A black Acura carrying four people crashed into the center divider and overturned injuring several people on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway at the Nipton Road off ramp, a California Highway Patrol said.
The crash took place about 8:10 a.m. this morning. There was also a Kia in the center divider missing a wheel. Paramedics responded and one person may have been airlifted and one person had a collarbone injury. Police say a white vehicle also crashed into a CHP unit at the scene. A third vehicle was over the side at the Nipton Road off ramp. Police made a hard closure of the freeway in the No. 1 lane to help victims and investigate the crash.
