Man Killed Walking on Freeway in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Feb. 2, 2023) – Noe Mira, 58, died in a pedestrian accident late Monday night at the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway and Harbor (110) Freeway interchange in Los Angeles.
The man was reportedly struck by a car while walking near the interchange of the two freeways, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred about 11:41 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30th, the CHP reports.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the freeway near the Central Avenue exit and located the injured pedestrian. There was also a red Honda Civic in the slow lane whose driver stopped following the crash, police said.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified Noe Mira, 58, as the man who died.
Sadly, Noe Mira was pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple blunt force trauma, the medical examiner said.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the fatal pedestrian accident.
