Nohemi Harrison, 57, ID’d as Suspect in Fatal West Hills DUI Crash on Woolsey
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 12, 2022) – Authorities detained Nohemi Harrison after a fatal DUI crash in West Hills.
The California Highway Patrol determined that the 57-year-old West Hills woman was under the influence when the wreck took place on Saturday.
The incident began when Nohemi Harrison was driving a 2021 Porsche on Woolsey Canyon Road in the West Hills neighborhood. CHP said she then crossed over the double yellow line.
In the process, her car struck a 2003 Nissan head-on. The two vehicles crashed at 24045 Woolsey Canyon Road near Valley Circle Boulevard.
Woman, 76, Killed in Wreck
The driver of the Nissan, a 76-year-old West Hills woman, sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics rushed her to the Northridge Hospital, where she died.
The name of deceased victim has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. The Daily News and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred at about 6:15 a.m.
Nohemi Harrison ended up suffering from unknown wounds following the crash. Medical personnel took her to the West Hills Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, CHP soon arrested Nohemi Harrison for DUI. The West Hills DUI crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call the CHP at 818-888-0980, or 323-259-3200.
