4 Badly Injured in Car Crash at 5th Street and Broken Lance Drive
DATE OF ACCIDENT: Friday, October 19th
October 24, 2018 – Several people were injured in a traffic collision at the intersection of 5th Street and Broken Lance Drive Friday morning.
According to the Press Enterprise, a car was speeding west on 5th when it hit the center median near the crossing at about 2:35 a.m.
Investigators determined three of the four people in the car were ejected during the impact. Medical records indicated responding paramedics transported all four parties involved to hospitals with serious injuries.
The names of the patients, and their conditions at this time remained undisclosed.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the collision.

California Highway Patrol will carry out a forensic examination of the solo vehicle involved, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators draw up a firm conclusion for what happened.
