The intersection where this collision took place has a stop sign on Valpredo Avenue at Wheeler Ridge Road. Traffic on Wheeler Ridge Road does not have a stop sign. It’s unknown which direction the two vehicles were traveling or if they were both on the same roadway. As police piece together evidence and speak to those involved, there will be a clearer picture and a decision made about who is liable.
Anyone who is injured in a collision due to a negligent driver or drivers, can file a personal injury claim against the at-fault driver to compensate them for their financial losses. While this can be done without an attorney, the results are oftentimes lower because insurance companies have the ultimate power without the threat of a lawsuit.
