1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured in North Auburn Crash Near Bell Road and New Airport
NORTH AUBURN, CA (July 30, 2021) – A car crash killed one person near Bell Road and New Airport Road in North Auburn.
According to ABC 10 News and CBS Sacramento, the tragic accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:37 p.m.
A white Nissan Rogue sideswiped a tan station wagon for an unknown reason in North Auburn. The California Highway Patrol said the Nissan then slammed head-on into a black Honda Civic.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The three cars crashed on Bell Road, east of New Airport Road. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and confirmed that the motorist in the Honda died.
Medical personnel rushed the driver of the Nissan to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced Bell Road to shut down in both directions following the wreck. The cause of the fatal North Auburn crash is still under investigation.
