1 Injured in North Auburn Hit-and-Run at Grass Valley Highway and Bell Road
NORTH AUBURN, CA (November 12, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person at Grass Valley Highway and Bell Road in North Auburn.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Thursday evening. Officers reported the wreck on November 11 at about 6:38 p.m.
The accident happened when a silver van and a blue pickup truck collided for an unknown reason in North Auburn. The two crashed on northbound Grass Valley Highway at the intersection with Bell Road.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Target store. They found an occupant of the van hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the pickup did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced the corner of Grass Valley and Bell to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the North Auburn hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
