Rider Hospitalized After Collision Near Highway 76
North County, CA (October 13, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 15 Freeway resulted in injuries, the Village News reported.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 15 in North County
Authorities said a man riding a motorcycle collided with a silver pickup truck. The crash took place in the southbound side of I-15 just north of State Route Highway 76.
Shortly after 8:14 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the motorcyclist ejected onto the center divide of the freeway. Medical personnel rendered first aid to the victim, then eventually transported him to a hospital for further treatment. The name of the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the occupants in the silver pickup truck appeared unharmed after the incident.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. At this time, they continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Interstate 15 in North County.
