NORTH HIGHLANDS, California (August 30, 2016) — A bicyclist had complaints of pain after being struck by a driver Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Watt Avenue and A Street, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 3:48 p.m. between a green Chevrolet Silverado, an older red sedan and the bicycle rider. The report stated the vehicles both pulled over in front of Harvey’s Bar.
The pickup truck struck the rider who became stuck between a car and a pole. Paramedics with the Sacramento County Fire Department responded to the scene to help the bicyclist who had complaints of pain to the chest.
