4-Vehicle Car Accident I-80 Freeway
NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. (August 10, 2023) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Thursday morning on the Interstate 80 Freeway in North Highlands.
The four-vehicle collision occurred in the eastbound lanes of the I-80 about 8 a.m. on August 10th, just east of Madison Avenue, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a black Kia sedan, a gold Honda Accord, a dark grey Toyota 4 Runner SUV and a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck were involved.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash, but there were no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the Kia due to major front-end damage off the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the accident on the Interstate 80 Freeway.
