1 Injured in North Highlands Crash on Watt Avenue Near Myrtle and Winona
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (August 18, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Watt Avenue in North Highlands.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 2:41 p.m.
CHP said possibly three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in North Highlands. They crashed at 4830 Watt Avenue near Myrtle Avenue and Winona Way.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The incident log described two of the cars involved as a white Ford Edge and a white colored sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Oakdale Park.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to the Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Watt Avenue to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the North Highlands crash is still under investigation.
