2 Injured in Fiery Crash at Elkhorn Boulevard and 30th Street Saturday
North Highlands, CA (February 12, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Elkhorn Boulevard and 30th Street early Saturday.
According to an article published online by CBS News, a vehicle careened off the traffic lanes for an unknown reason and plowed into a home in North Highlands. The make and model of the car involved in the crash have not been revealed thus far.
The crash happened at approximately 3 a.m. When emergency crews arrived, they found the car and structure engulfed in flames. A Good Samaritan apparently pulled out two victims from the fire, Responding paramedics assumed attending to the injured parties; and later transported them to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. It remained unclear if the victims were occupants in the car or residents in the building.
Detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the fiery crash at Elkhorn Boulevard and 30th Street in North Highlands.
