Vehicle Strikes, Kills Woman Near Winona Way
North Highlands, CA (November 23, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Wednesday night on Watt Avenue, according to KCRA3 News.
Earlier reports indicated a van heading north on Watt struck a woman crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk. The horrible crash took place just south of Winona Way in North Highlands.
Pedestrian Dies in North Highlands Crash on Watt Avenue
Shortly after 5:41 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders immediately rendered aid to the female pedestrian found suffering in serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts performed by medical personnel, the victim sadly succumbed to her injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
