North Highlands, CA (June 21, 2021) – On June 20, Sunday, a suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred in the area of Watt and Orange Grove Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided at the North Highlands intersection. Officials identified the cars involved in the wreck as a silver Lexus SUV and a silver Honda SUV.

For reasons still unclear, the two motorists crashed at the crossing of Watt and Orange Grove around 7:30 a.m.

Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to all possible victims found at the scene. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.

Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch confirmed one driver fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
