Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in North Highlands Crash Near Airbase and Madison
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (May 9, 2021) – A crash near Airbase Drive and Madison Avenue seriously injured motorcyclist in North Highlands.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 2:33 p.m. near the Interstate 80.
CHP said a vehicle and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed near the intersection of Airbase Drive and Madison Avenue in North Highlands.

The motorcycle rolled over upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the rider hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver sustained any wound after the incident. Officers forced the roadway to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the North Highlands crash.
