Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in North Highlands Crash Near Winding and College Oak
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (November 5, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a car crash near Winding Way and College Oak Drive in North Highlands.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:34 p.m.
According to CHP, the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided in North Highlands. The two crashed for an unknown reason near the intersection of Winding Way and College Oak Drive.
Collision Near ARC
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the American River College. They found the motorcyclist suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Winding and College Oak to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the North Highlands crash is still under investigation.
