Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in North Highlands Crash at Winona and Jenny Lind
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (June 8, 2023) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Winona Way and Jenny Lind Avenue in North Highlands.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident on Wednesday night. Officers reported the wreck on June 7 at about 2:14 p.m.
The incident happened when the motorcyclist and a white Hyundai Elantra collided for an unknown reason in North Highlands. The two crashed at the intersection of Winona Way and Jenny Lind Avenue.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Oakdale Park. They found the rider and the motorcycle down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Winona and Jenny Lind to shut down after the accident.
The cause of the North Highlands crash is still under investigation.
