
North Highlands pedestrian Watt Myrtle
Pedestrian Seriously Injured in North Highlands Crash at Watt and Myrtle Avenues
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (May 19, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after an accident at Watt and Myrtle avenues in North Highlands.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the incident took place late Wednesday night. Officers reported the crash at about 10:23 p.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in North Highlands. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Watt and Myrtle avenues.
Victim Hit by Vehicle Near Walmart
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Walmart Supercenter. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped after hitting the victim. Officers forced the intersection of Watt and Myrtle to close following the crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the North Highlands pedestrian accident.
